A stuffy nose and ear-ache is not only miserable for baby, but can often lead to a disturbed night’s sleep for all the family.  Some parents resort to using telephone books to prop up one end of the cot to help ease nasal congestion, but now there’s new Baby Bed Blocks®. 

As an adult we might prop ourselves up with pillows when we’re suffering with a cold, but leading child safety advocates advise never to use pillows or duvets in the cot for babies under one year old. Baby Bed Blocks® are a set of six specially designed plastic blocks, which can ease congestion in the same way, by propping up one end of baby’s cot. 

Simply place up to three blocks under each leg at the top end of the cot and carefully check that the slope of the bed is just right, so that baby does not slide down.  The blocks raise the cot by a maximum of 10 cm and fit most standard cots with legs of less than 7 cm diameter.  

Baby Bed Blocks® are a safe complement to medication and a natural method of helping baby to breathe more easily.  When they’re not required they also make great building block toys!
